Tea, SD
In 2007, we were approached by a couple from Tea, SD. They were interested in opening a Milkyway in the little town of Tea. As the franchisor, we were hesitant. Opening a business in small town South Dakota is a difficult task. We went to work, studying facts, figures, sales projections, and costs. We looked at the growth of Tea. We explained to the projective franchisee this is a big gamble on their behalf. However, they felt comfortable pursuing this adventure. Part of their decision was based on the success of our Sycamore location. This couple from Tea, SD was actually interested in purchasing our Sycamore location back in 2001. We could see their commitment, and we decided to work with them and open our third franchise. Working hard, these new franchisees have beat the odds and now own another successful Milkyway.

They stayed open late during Tea Pot Days. Even though we rolled in through the drive-thru a few minutes before closing they were very polite and hospitable. Best service I’ve had anywhere.
Unlike the Dairy Queen located in Tea, B & G Milkyway has consistently fresh food when you order it, and it is always delivered timely. They are always kind, patient and respectful. The prices are great. They’re also professional. The exact opposite of what I experienced at Dairy Queen. Oh, and my order is always accurate. Love it!!
