We are very excited to have our first franchise open that is not part of the Sioux Falls area. An energetic and entrepreneurial couple knew of our reputation of great service, as well as wonderful treats and wanted to be a part of it. So, Mitchell, here we come! Each franchise we open is nerve racking, but opening in a new city adds another level of anxiety. This couple has worked hard studying the need for a business like ours. Their hard work made us both comfortable that a Milkyway will be successful in Mitchell, so, Mitchell, we’re sure you’ll enjoy us every bit as much as the Sioux Falls area has!

One of those places to go to on a nice day to get a drink and some food with family or friends, sit out in sun or eat in your vehicle or at your home. Very friendly staff and fast food-making speed for a large order.

Best ice cream I’ve had in Mitchell in years! Looks like employees care about the cleanliness of the business. I think it is amazing to see how professional everyone inside the business is. I’ve been a couple times now and I have yet to see an employee on their phone. I heard the owner chatting and he seems very nice and genuine, much like he actually cares. I genuinely think this is exactly what Mitchell needed to step up its game and it’s 100% a place I will be recommending!
