Be Highly Motivated

Being a seasonal business comes with long days. In order to maintain our model as hands-on owners, you will need to be involved in the daily operations of your business. Hiring, training, inventory, scheduling, and working “on the line” are just a few duties you will perform regularly.

Manage People Well

Depending on your location and the success of your business, you will employ up to 40 people. Employees will need to operate at the best of their ability, and they can only do this with your help and guidance.

Provide Exceptional Customer Service

At B & G Milkyway, we take our motto, “Good food served by good people,” seriously. Great customer service is the foundation of our business. You and your staff will need to operate at a fast pace and make orders correctly, all while having a smile on your face and a chipper attitude.

How To Get Started

You will need to provide us with the following:

  1. A full credit report
  2.  A letter from your bank stating your ability to obtain a loan. The loan amount will vary depending on construction costs, land costs, and the amount of a down payment you can make.  If you desire to own the property and building, your startup costs will be higher.  If it is decided that we will purchase the land and put up a building, your costs will be lower.
  3. A basic business plan that includes:
    1. The location you wish to operate your business
    2. Your goals and how you will reach them
    3. How you will market your business
    4. What personnel you will have on location

After you put this information together, complete our interest form and we will review your information and begin the process. It’s that simple.
