69th and Cliff
2023 brought our ninth location. We have seen the continuing growth on the Southeastern part of Sioux Falls. We took advantage of this growth by opening a location at the corner of 69th Street and Cliff Avenue. This beautiful building is larger in scale with an inviting patio area. The couple who purchased this location are pouring their hearts into this business adventure. After fighting poor weather, construction mishaps, and the unexpected difficulties in getting the equipment to operate their business, they finally were able to open the doors in June. The neighborhood welcomed them with smiles and cheers, keeping our new franchisees busier than they ever thought they would be.

It’s safe to say this place is a paradise for ice cream lovers! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a vibrant, fun atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a delightful experience. Their variety of flavors is unmatched. Whether you’re a fan of classics like vanilla or more adventurous options like strawberry, they have something for every palate. But what truly stole the show was their Avalanche—a heavenly blend of creamy ice cream mixed with your favorite candies or toppings. I went for the cookie dough peanut butter cup, which had rich vanilla ice cream swirled with chunks of happiness and joy. It was the perfect balance of crunchy and creamy! What sets B & G apart from other places is the quality. Their ice cream is luxuriously smooth, and with the added crunch and texture from the candy mix-ins, the Avalanche is a treat like no other. Whether you’re customizing your own or picking from their signature mixes, the result is always a flavor-packed, textural masterpiece.
Place is upbeat with fun music and appealing outdoor seating. We ordered California Dreamin’ and chocolate vanilla twist. Very yummy!! Family-friendly place. Would go again! Highly recommend.
First time visiting B & G Milkyway and have to say I’ll definitely be back! I ordered the hot dog combo, which came with a standard hot dog, potato salad and smoked beans. The employees were the kindest folks I’ve ever come across at any eatery. That makes a big difference and is appreciated! One of the employees recommended I try an Avalanche for next time. They do ask what you want on the hot dog, which for me was onions and mustard. The food was delicious and the lemonade was perfect, not too sweet. The drive-thru experience was really neat, the employees come out and take payment as well as hand your order over when it’s ready. Keep up the great work, B & G!
They were amazing!! They got the nine Avalanches I ordered out in a fast and a timely manner. They are overall a very wonderful group of people. Thank you for your fantastic service.
Bing Avalanche? Play area with turf for our little one? This location is great! Tons of Bing candy pieces in our shake. We asked for a tiny cup of ice cream for our toddler, thinking they’d give us the usual dish filled with ice cream, but nope! They understood the assignment and gave us a tiny plastic cup (think mouthwash cup) for her. It was PERFECT. She was so busy enjoying the giant checkers game that she only wanted 2 or 3 bites of ice cream. The drive- thru is organized and fast, as we’ve been through it, too (guilty). We’ll be back for more BING soon!
Medium cone is quite large. Strawberry ice cream was pretty good. We sat under an umbrella in the breeze, so it was great.
